ibecome is a free international careers service for university students, even in their first year, and graduates. We are developing links with employers and recruiters based on the information that our registered users give us.

Finding a good job in another country is difficult, particularly if you don’t live there. Recruitment is typically sourced nationally. There are a lot of barriers (cultural, linguistic, regulatory) separating businesses from international talent.

We help students, even from the start of their degree, as well as graduates, to prepare for international employment or study and find jobs. We support businesses who want to benefit from a more international workforce.

Despite Britain’s exit from the EU, and the Covid-19 crisis, the connection between UK employers and EU workers will remain strong in the medium and long term.

This is due to the successful links forged for more than 40 years of Free Movement and the geographical and cultural proximity between the European continent and Great Britain.

The UK is a welcoming, multicultural, diverse and attractive country, particularly the big cities such as London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Edinburgh and Bristol, with excellent career opportunities and competitive salaries.

ibecome has strong links in the UK, especiallly with SME’s in the North of England.

Currently, the UK Government is considering the introduction of a points-based immigration system to allow, amongst others, qualified workers from the EU to settle in the UK. There are no visa restrictions for EU citizens.
